Safety Officer OHST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Officer ensures compliance with occupational health and

safety guidelines by investigating and writing incident and

accident reports, hazard identification, risk assessment, and

control, and conducting inspections to ensure equipment and

workplace safety ensuring workplace safety by complying with

occupational safety and health standards and mitigate risks

in the workplace and safeguarding employees and the organization as a

whole.



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety,

environmental science, industrial engineering, or a relatedfield.

Proven experience in safety management, preferably in a similar

industry or environment.

Professional certification such as Certified Safety

Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician

(OHST) preferred.
