Description
We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer / HSE Manager to provide operational health, safety and environmental leadership for a 3-month contract.
The role is based in Johannesburg with the first two months on site in the Northern Cape. T
his is an urgent requirement. Salary is competitive and negotiable and will be determined based on skills and experience. Immediate availability and strong mining safety experience are essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) for the site.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments and implement effective controls.
