Job Description
Elevate festival safety standards at the Shambhala Music Festival as a Safety & Compliance Specialist! This full-time role runs from June 22 to July 31 and is critical to the festival's success.
In this key position, you will guide health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols across all operations. Your proactive approach will identify risks and maintain high safety standards for crew and attendees alike. You will also act as the Advanced First Aid representative during pre-and post-festival periods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments and safety inspections
• Monitor compliance of festival operations with safety practices
• Record and analyze safety incidents to drive improvements
• Facilitate safety orientations and training
• Coordinate with emergency personnel as needed
Requirements:
• Advanced First Aid Certification is mandatory
• Diploma in Occupational Health or Event Management
