Summary About the Position: This position is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Advanced leave accrual may be authorized Responsibilities Manage the Chemical Safety Program to guarantee safe operations across all laboratory environments. Develop laboratory-specific safety policies and hazard risk assessments by collaborating with management and technical staff. Execute standard SOH (Safety and Occupational Health) functions to mitigate injury/illness. Investigate workplace mishaps to implement systemic corrective actions. Administer safety training, coordinate health screenings, coordinate external agency audits, and review procurement requests and contracts as needed for compliance with safety standards. Coordinate emergency management plans with the primary agency representative to align organizational safety readiness.
