Job Description

Safeguarding Training and Vetting Coordinator
To provide training both in-person and online to Church bodies on the implementation of the Church of Ireland’s child and adult safeguarding policies.
The role of the Safeguarding Training and Vetting Coordinator is to provide training both in-person and online to parishes, dioceses and central Church bodies on the implementation of the Church of Ireland’s child safeguarding and adult safeguarding policies. The successful candidate will manage the Garda Vetting and AccessNI services based in Dublin.
The role which will be offered on a permanent basis, is based in Dublin and involves travel within Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Specific responsibilities
Develop training courses to meet the needs of members of the clergy, staff and volunteers in line with the RCB Safeguarding Strategy and safeguarding policies
