Rural Maternity Midwife — 12-Hour Shifts, Community Impact

Health NewZealand | TeWhatuOra seeks Midwives to join the rural maternity ward at Kaitaia Hospital. The role requires delivering holistic maternity care across pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods and working within a multi‑disciplinary team.

The position operates on a roster of 12‑hour shifts, including days, nights and weekends. The Registered Midwife will provide autonomous, high‑quality care, collaborate with women and other health professionals, and support transfers to higher‑level
