Rotational Physiotherapist (Core Clinician), Allied Health

Position Overview

Permanent, full‑time physiotherapist role within HealthNewZealand – Te Whatu Ora. Salary per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide core clinic physiotherapy services across a rotational model in Cardiorespiratory inpatient & outpatient, Acute neuro, Orthopaedics, Assessment/Treatment & Rehabilitation Unit, Community adults, Burns & plastics, Hand therapy, Musculoskeletal outpatients, Inpatient paediatrics, and Spinal unit.
• Complete 4‑ or 6‑month rotations in these specialities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and, after credentialing, work weekends and on‑call duties on a rostered basis.

Essential Qualifications

• Registered with the NewZealand Physiotherapy Board and holding a current annual practising certificate.
• Demonstrated cultural awareness and understanding of Māori, Pacific, disabled and rainbow communities.
