Rock Engineer
A well-established mining company in the Northern Cape is seeking a skilled and experienced Rock Engineer to join their team. As a Rock Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing safe and stable underground excavations, conducting stability analyses, and providing technical support to the Rock Engineering team members. Requirements:
- BSc degree / BTech in Mining Engineering or Geology
- Chamber of Mines Certificate in Rock Mechanics
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in Rock Engineering in the mining industry
- Experience in underground mining operations
- Strong knowledge of rock mechanics principles and ground control practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with a relevant professional body
