Job Summary:
The RN works to achieve quality patient care and will provide patient care in the Emergency Room according to the assigned shift. The RN shall implement the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include triage assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation as evidenced by documentation in the EMR, direct observation, and patient evaluations of care. The RN is responsible for patient care and is ultimately accountable to the Director of Nursing. Implements and maintains established Emergency department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relati...
