RN - Oncology

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is in need of an Oncology RN for a travel contract to support an Oncology unit located in Powell River, BC.

Dates: ASAP – September 4, 2026 (high possibility to extend)
Location: Powell River, BC

Skills Required

• 1+ year of work experience in an oncology setting
• BC Chemotherapy Certification
• Current BCLS Certification

Responsibilities include

Pre-chemotherapy assessments. Systemic therapy administration. IV starts and IVAD accesses. Bloodwork and flushes per IVAD also done; discharge forms filled out with next appointment, bloodwork dates and medications needed; teaching of chemotherapy; management for any new patient systemic therapy start.

4-5 chemo chairs available for oral, subcutaneous and/or IV chemotherapy
