1 South: This unit is located at Parkview Regional Medical Center on the 1st floor. 1 South has 22 beds, they are an acute care unit that cares for any kind of infection, complications from chronic diseases and comorbidities.
2 North Extended: This is a 24 bed Medical Surgical unit. This unit primarily focuses on short stay surgeries (1-2 days) specializing in gynecology oncology, urology and procedural gastroenterology. This unit is a supportive environment for a new nurse to grow their nursing skills by learning to take care of a wide variety of patients or an experienced nurse who has a passion for these specialties. We have a great mentoring/precepting program, focused on teamwork, positivity and growth to support you in your nursing goals.
