Position Overview

The rigger must be able to work under stressful conditions but still be able to make clear safety conscious decisions. He must be able to do standby on operating our mobile cranes as well as doing rigging work.

Primary Responsibilities Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act and company specific SHE Policies and procedures Prepared to be a Team Worker able to assist the team to set and achieve targets/goals Must do standby and work overtime if needed in case of emergency or when production is down Do Legal rigger inspections Conduct rigging activities, as well as rigging studies, at BSB and at MSP Operate, but not limited to, mobile cranes with the lifting capacity of 70 and 90 tons Ensure compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act, Mine’s Code of Practice, Procedures, Standards and Company SHE objectives Ensure sound maintenance approach and housekeeping activities Continuous i...
