Job Description

Summary You will serve as a RIGGER (DIVER) in the Diver Support Branch (Code 970A), Divers Division (Code 970), Production Department (Code 900), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Responsibilities You will rig and move objects through confined and/or underwater areas where cranes or other mobile material handling equipment cannot be used. You will set up and operate equipment used in diving operations, observing all safety requirements set forth in the USN Diving Manual. You will perform preventative maintenance in accordance with USN PMS program. You will perform underwater inspection and repair of all types of naval vessels.
