Rig Mechanic required on contract bases for 12 months
Matric (Preferred)
Qualification and Experience
Minimum 7 Years overall Field Experience at oil and gas drilling rig.
Minimum 5 years as rig mechanic.
Responsibilities And Duties
2.1. The rig mechanic will install facility machinery and perform regular maintenance and repairs on drilling rig and camp equipment including engines, compressors, draw works, rotary table, mud pumps, hydraulic systems, solid control equipment, vehicles (crane, truck, forklift or other vehicles) and associated components to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
2.2. Assists in dismantling, packaging and preparation of mechanical equipment for rig moves, including re-assembly at new locations.
2.3. Assists with the planned maintenance program for rig and camp mechanical equipment and instrumentation.
