Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. The role involves administering respiratory therapies, monitoring patient progress, operating respiratory care equipment, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high‑quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and oxygen saturation monitoring.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, nebulization treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP devices.
• Assist physicians during intubation, bronchoscopy, and other respiratory procedures.
