Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is a two‑site community hospital located in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. The Brantford General is an acute care hospital, while The Willett in Paris is an urgent care centre with transitional beds.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Critical Care, the Respiratory Therapist will provide evidence‑based, comprehensive, safe, effective, and ethical care to all clients requiring Respiratory Therapist services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the anesthesiology role in the Operating Room and Labour and Delivery.
• Manage mechanically ventilated patients, including modifying ventilation in accordance with protocols.
• Assist in the transport of intubated patients.
• Carry out ongoing assessment and intervention for high‑risk respiratory failure patients.
