Respiratory Consultant - Part Time - Fixed Term

Join Our Dynamic Respiratory Team at Te Whatu Ora Waitemata. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Respiratory Senior Medical Officer (SMO) for a 12‑month fixed term. This primarily 0.65FTE Respiratory role is based in Waitemata on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand, with additional General Medicine hours available for a full‑time role if dual trained.

About the role

We provide top‑notch respiratory care to a diverse population across two hospital sites in North and West Auckland. Working in partnership with other departments, we deliver high‑quality, innovative services as part of a multidisciplinary team with colleagues across Metro Auckland.

Your Role

• Work alongside collaborative and helpful colleagues in a supportive environment to deliver out‑patient services and clinics, in‑patient consults, bronch and EBUS lists throughout the week.
• Maintain a balanced work‑life schedule with a 1:9 after‑hours roster.
