Job Description

Step into the role of Youth Residential Worker at KOBE Safe Sober Sites, providing essential detox support for youth aged 13-21 in Thunder Bay. Help create a secure and supportive environment for recovery.
In this position, you will assist the Safe Sober Site Lead and KOBE Inquest Manager in delivering detoxification services. Your tasks will include supervising students during recovery, overseeing care plans, and facilitating connections with after-care services. Work closely with addiction specialists and Well-Being Teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster a culturally safe space during detox
• Coordinate with KOBE On-Call Workers for student assessments
• Collaborate with Health Service teams on treatment plans
• Document and report health services efficiently
• Manage after-care communications effectively
