Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Rehabilitation Unit

We are seeking a dedicated Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join a community-based rehabilitation unit in Leopardstown. This service supports patients transitioning from acute hospitals, primarily those requiring Level 2 and Level 3 rehabilitation , with a strong focus on care of older persons.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care in a 25–50 bed rehabilitation unit
• Perform comprehensive admission assessments and ongoing patient reviews
• Conduct daily ward rounds and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Manage and optimise medication plans (including prescribing and deprescribing)
• Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical changes
