We are looking for a passionate individual to join our recently awarded research project on functional oxide thin films for Advanced Photonics.

Job Description

• Growth of oxide thin films on Si wafers by physical vapor deposition.
• Structural characterization of oxide thin films by atomic force microscopy, high resolution X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy.
• Work closely with theory team to understand the film growth mechanisms.
• Design, nanofabrication, and testing of photonic devices.
• Publish experimental findings in peer-reviewed journals and file patent applications.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry is required.
• Strong skills in data analysis, with preferred experience in photonic devices.
• Experience in oxide thin film deposition by sputtering, PLD, MBE is preferred. Solid understandin...
