Job Description
This position will contribute to the execution of the project-funded research activities within the Department of Pathology. The incumbent is expected to undertake central review and annotation of pathology slides, and oversee the process of slide production and digital image acquisition for the purposes of the study.
The key duties include:
- Work with the study team to understand the study protocol needs. This will include attending any training courses organized by the main study site for alignment and standardization of work processes and reporting.
- Be responsible for case and slide selection, slide and image preparations (including sectioning and staining quality control for the purposes of the study), annotations and labelling.
- Perform research-level histopathology review and annotation of slides according to study protocols, maintaining appropriate documentation of case selection and findings.
