Job Description
The School of Geographical Sciences, University of Bristol, seeks to appoint a Research & Innovation Associate (RIA) for a 2-year (24-month) position in Aquatic Methane Emissions. The RIA will be working as part of a science team led by Associate Professor Josh Dean in the £2.2million UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship project ‘Finding and fixing gas leaks: Using urban waterways to halt the global rise in methane emissions’ (2022-2029).
This position represents an exciting opportunity to work on a global climate challenge with high potential for impact. The successful candidate will lead the measurement and interpretation of data on methane emissions and their origin from field campaigns across a range of cities around the globe.
