The Opportunity

The School of Nursing and Midwifery has an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to contribute to the EngageMedsHome Project, an Australian Research Council Discovery Project focused on improving medicines communication between older people living at home, families and health professionals. Using reflexive ethnography and experience-based co-design, the project will develop and evaluate strategies to support safer medicines communication across community and home settings.


The Research Fellow will contribute to key project activities including interviews, observations, co-design workshops, feasibility testing, data analysis, manuscript preparation and knowledge dissemination. Working independently and collaboratively, this position will provide an opportunity to build expertise in co-design research, medication safety, health services research and evaluation of complex interventions.
