Job Description
Assistant Professor Yanyan Cheng’s research group is seeking a Research Fellow with a demonstrated ability to deliver high quality research outputs in a timely manner. This position is part of a Singapore NRF funded research project hosted by ASE. The Research Fellow will contribute to advancing research in Earth system modeling and to improve understanding of interactions among land, water, carbon, energy, atmosphere, ecosystems, and human systems.
This is a one-year appointment and potentially renewable based on performance and funding availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop remote-sensing and geospatial datasets for monitoring land-use change and environmental systems.
Integrate satellite observations, ancillary geospatial data, and AI-based approaches for analyzing land, water, carbon, and ecosystem dynamics.
