Research Engineer II – Field Application Engineer

has multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes which focus on translational Research, Development & Deployment which focus on a specific area of the energy value chain and a number of Living labs and Testbeds which facilitate large-scale technology deployment enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications. As a Research Engineer II at , you will be at the forefront of our microgrid technology and clean energy solution development efforts, responsible for designing, testing, power and energy management systems.

• Design and maintain a distributed control system hierarchy over industry standard communication protocols such as MODBUS TCP, IEC61850.
• Design and maintain SCADA applications, GUI/HMI, PLC programs and edge devices. Create APIs for cloud applications.
