Research Assistant (AI & Computational Biology)

Join the research team of Dr. Fuying Dao at the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) in the College of Science at Nanyang Technological University. We are seeking a Research Assistant to support an AI-driven computational biology project focused on developing artificial intelligence and AI agent-based methods for biological data analysis. The role will contribute to research in genomics, epigenetics, and disease-related regulatory mechanisms, and will involve computational pipeline development, biological data analysis, implementation of machine learning and deep learning models, and integration of AI approaches with biological knowledge.

• Collect, process, and analyze biological datasets, including RNA-seq, Hi-C, ChIA-PET, ATAC-seq, and other omics data.
• Develop machine learning and deep learning models to address computational biology and biomedical research questions.
