Research and Development Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design and execute research projects in collaboration with salmon farmers and research partners
• Deploy, service, and troubleshoot hardware including cameras, sonar systems, winches, sensors, and network configurations in field environments
• Handle fish during field experiments and manage data collection, entry, and annotation
• Build and maintain data dashboards and automation scripts using Python and Linux to support research and operational workflows
• Travel to remote aquaculture facilities for 2-3 days to provide technical support and conduct field research activities
• Translate research findings into scalable, commercial product solutions

What You Need

• BS, MS, or PhD in aquaculture or relevant technical field
• Previous experience working with fish in an aquacultural setting
