Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead design of grid-tied and hybrid PV systems, including sizing, costing, and optimization.
- Review EPC technical submissions, BOQs, and yield assumptions.
- Ensure compliance with SANS, NRS, IEC, and Grid Code standards.
- Conduct site and grid assessments with full feasibility analysis.
- Oversee preparation of SLDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Incorporate HSE best practices into all engineering designs.
- Serve as technical lead throughout the project lifecycle, supporting procurement and construction.
- Liaise with clients, EPCs, suppliers, and regulators as the main technical contact.
- Mentorship & Development
- PrEng registered
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, other qualifications will be considered with the right experience.
