Rehab Technician – Allied Health – Part Time

Purpose Of Position

To assist with patient care as delegated by the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist; assist in organizing caseload coverage for Physiotherapists and/or Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy Assistant teams during vacations, absences and rotations; manage equipment and supplies for the department; provide support of departmental projects, best practices and programs.

Duties

• Assist with or provide patient treatment in the outpatient setting under the direction of Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists.
• Provide patient education as directed.
• Facilitate and participate in group therapy as instructed by the Therapist, including preparing materials and setting up treatment space.
