Registered/Enrolled Nurse Casual Pool Wairau

Overview

Registered or Enrolled Nurses are invited to join the Wairau Hospital casual pool. These positions provide a flexible working arrangement across a range of shifts and clinical areas within the hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad‑hoc shift coverage for leave and illness across acute nursing areas.
• Work traditional AM, PM and Night shifts as well as flexible hours (e.g., 09:00‑14:00, 10:00‑14:30, 14:00‑18:00, 18:00‑23:00).
• Support clinical teams in a dynamic environment, maintaining high standards of patient care and communication.

Requirements

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse (New Zealand).
• Minimum of 2 years post‑registration acute nursing experience.
• Willingness to work AM, PM, Night shifts and flexible hours.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills with a positive can‑do attitude.
