:A Registered Respiratory Therapist possesses the clinical expertise for assessment of patient/client respiratory equipment needs and for the selection and troubleshooting of appropriate equipment and/or services provided to meet those needs. They are also skilled in instructing patients and/or caregivers on the care and use of equipment/supplies/therapies associated with respiratory care and disease management along with creating care plans for respiratory care and disease management.
