Overview

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) reports to the Health and Wellness Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day safety and provision of personal care and services for seniors. By promoting the values, goals, and philosophy of the Home, the RPN engages in meaningful interactions with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and supervision to PSWs and team members
• Ongoing assessment of resident care needs, monitoring and reporting changes
• Participates in the development and modification of the resident’s plan of care; assists in implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of the plans
