Job Overview

At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to support our Medical & Renal Care department.

Medical and Renal Care features 32 beds to support complex care patients (including tracheostomy, complex wounds, gastrostomy, colostomy and more). In addition to general hospital orientation, there is specialized training for Peritoneal Dialysis (both CAPD & CCPD) and how to complete pre and post assessments for hemodialysis patients. This is a highly collaborative, supportive and welcoming environment. Nurses work closely with patients and family caregivers to create a care plan tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. In this specialization, there is increased opportunity to become familiar with a patient and their specific routines and how they want care delivered.
