The Registered Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in a busy clinic pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service through direct in-person and phone-based interactions. This position responds to inbound and outbound calls, answers questions about pharmacy services and deliveries, completes refill and assistance calls, and helps resolve customer complaints. The technician receives and processes new pharmacy referrals, verifies insurance coverage, facilitates prior authorization requests, accurately transcribes prescriptions, generates and follows cycle fill reports, coordinates medication delivery, and serves as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries. The role supports pharmacological services by verifying fill lists, insurance information, billing, and medication alignment according to the cycle fill calendar, while maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulat...
