Job Description
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in vascular access. This role requires expertise in CVAD management and a commitment to quality patient care.
This position requires a current C.N.O. registration and preferred B.Sc.N. with a minimum of two years of relevant vascular access experience. You will perform essential tasks such as inserting IV lines, monitoring CVADs daily, and educating staff and patients. Critical thinking and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform early vascular access assessments for CVAD recommendations
• Insert IV lines and troubleshoot CVAD complications
• Monitor CVADs to prevent infections daily
• Analyze surveillance data for continuous quality improvement
• Provide education to staff, medical teams, patients, and families
Requirements:
• Valid C.N.O. registration and preferred B.Sc.N.
• Minimum of 2 years recent vascular access experience
