Overview

We are seeking experienced nurses to work in our busy and growing theatre department.

Role Details

Registered Nurse offers safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to our patients. This is a permanent role offered at 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), worked on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday. The role supports end‑of‑day shifts with shift lengths of up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimum patient care in accordance with Mercy Hospital Shared Purpose and Values.
• Practice in accordance with the Domains of Competence for the Registered Nurse.
• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Maintain a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practising certificate.
