Registered Nurse - Nurse Educator Sterile Processing Service

Summary The Milwaukee VAMC is looking for a Nurse Educator for Sterile Processing Services (SPS). The Nurse Educator is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based education to staff in the area of SPS. Responsibilities This is not a remote position Provide educational instruction and training for clinical and technical staff in SPS, clinical, and outpatient units. Understand instructional design, implementation, and application related to education and training. Perform learning needs assessments, develop educational trainings for clinical and technical staff within organization. Assist with the orientation of new employees, evaluation of their progress in the orientation process, and development and implementation of a learning plan for improving identified deficiencies.
