Job Description

North Jersey Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center is seeking a Per diem Registered Nurse to join our team. The Endoscopy RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.

Serve as a circulating nursein the procedure room.

Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy.

Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, nurses, and endoscopy technicians to ensure safe patient care.

Monitor patient condition and ensure patient safety during procedures.
