About the role
As a Registered Nurse within the Hāpaitia roopu of the Hospital Operations Directorate, you will be part of a dynamic, enthusiastic, positive and passionate multi‑disciplinary team. You will provide nursing advice, care and expertise, both in direct patient care and in support of other staff caring for patients on the Hāpaitia pathway.
Enhancing mana, support and safety for all patients and staff around the Hāpaitia pathway.
Patients with behaviours of concern are assessed as having a range of behaviours which may include: risk of suicide/self‑harm, pulling out of medical lines/tubes, impulsivity, using verbal or physical abuse or threatening others, mild agitation and wandering, etc.
