Job Description
Registered Nurse – Gastroenterology
* Dunedin Hospital
* 0.5 FTE / 40 Hours per fortnight

About the role
The Gastroenterology Department:
* Collaborate in the endoscopy service and to the broader Gastroenterology team of consultants, specialist nurses for IBD and Hepatology, and the National Bowel Screening Program co-ordinators.
* Upskill in the gastroenterology field and learn technical skills for assisting with flexible endoscopic procedures.
* Support a diagnostic outpatient service, and to be exposed to a different type of nursing practice.
* Participate in our after-hours acute service roster.
* Expand your knowledge in areas like population bowel screening, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease.
