Key Responsibilities - Antenatal Care

• Perform comprehensive maternal assessments during pregnancy.
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing using evidence‑based clinical practices.
• Identify high‑risk pregnancies and promptly escalatem concerns to the Obstetrician.
• Educate expectant mothers on pregnancy, nutrition, birth planning, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

Intrapartum Care

• Provide continuous care and support during labor and childbirth.
• Conduct normal vaginal deliveries within the approved scope of practice.
• Monitor labor progression and fetal wellbeing using appropriate assessment tools.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Recognize and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies, including postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress, shoulder dystocia, and eclampsia.
