Job Description
Position Summary
SHIFT: Friday - Tuesday 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Responsible for hands-on maintenance of HVAC systems and related auxiliary equipment. Perform tasks that include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, cleaning, greasing and replacing equipment, parts and supplies. Maintain the Shop and tools, work orders, logs and inventories. Report to the Manager of the HVAC Shop.
Qualifications
Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Education:Some college education in engineering and/or a completion certificate from a recognized trade school preferred.Required Experience:3+ years Mechanical maintenance experience with absorption and freon A/C equipment required. Must have New York City Refrigeration Engineer's License and EPA-CFC Universal certification.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge and skills in electric, plumbing systems, refrigeration cycle, common parts and pneumatic/ electrical/elect...
