Job Title : Journeyman/woman Welder

Reporting Structure : This role reports directly to the Operations Supervisor. This role has no supervisory or managerial authority and no direct reports.

General Description of the Role

The role of the Journeyman/woman Welder will have a firm grasp of the equipment and be able to work independently, they have not yet been here long enough to know when things are not being built to function properly in the field, will not yet be able to identify functional issues in the design or build: is to prepare, cut, assemble, fit, and weld steel to manufacture aggregate and mining equipment.

The position may also provide support to the service department with service and repairs including inspecting, dissembling, preforming weld repairs, build ups and replace worn or damaged components by mechanical or welding processes.
