Position Overview

Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for providing quality operational repairs and preventative maintenance while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mill equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment including motors, generators, pumps, heavy machinery, lighting systems, environmental control systems, communication systems, and associated electrical/electronic controls.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Apply electrical theory, industry standards, and applicable codes to maintenance and repair activities.
• Install conduit and wiring systems, including rewiring existing equipment.
• Provide PLC troubleshooting, programming, and system upgrades.
