Recreation Coordinator - Summer Student

Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a contract, part‑time summer job (35 hours per week) in Red Deer, Alberta. The contract will be 8 weeks long and is dependent on government funding.

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old and must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

Job Summary

As a Recreational Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a recreation program to children and adults with disabilities. You will be supporting caregiver support groups for families impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD).

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities with their day‑to‑day needs
• Promote Agency at community events (e.g., kids activities / FASD Awareness Day)
