Recreation Assistant (Liberty)

Summary This position is located in a Recreation Facility administered by Fleet & Family Readiness Division. Command Navy Region Northwest N9. Incumbent may be assigned to schedule and participate in activities, maintain the facility and assist with daily operations. Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides information to patrons about activities and program offerings. Checks patron eligibility to ensure authorized use of recreation facilities, resources and equipment. Checks recreation equipment and resources in and out and completes inspections upon return. Notifies supervisor or program lead if damage or loss has occurred. Maintains inventory controls for proper accountability of program equipment and resources. Orders and restocks supplies. Prepares and sells snack bar menu items and/or pre-packaged retail items.
