RECREATION ASSISTANT - COMMUNITY RECREATION

Summary This position is located within Morale, Welfare and Recreation Departments, onboard Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, TX. The purpose of the positions are to perform a variety of duties in support of the MWR that may include special events, recreation information/resources, command events, visiting ships or fleet support, community events, grab and go, tours, outings, party and picnic rental equipment, recreational green space management, and outdoor recreation. Responsibilities General (Duties include but are not limited to): Prepares and maintains required administrative reports and forms (e.g., utilization data, financial forms, procurement forms, invoices). Performs numerous duties for successful daily operations (e.g., collection of fees; completion of retail sales transactions on point of sales, receipt book, or cash register; walk-through of parking lot and dock areas).
