ROLE SUMMARY

King's Infant School seeks to appoint a Reception Teacher with possible EYFS Lead to join on a temporary basis (maternity cover) in February/March 2025. The role supports the delivery of quality learning and teaching, raises standards for all pupils, and helps children make good progress, develop emotional security, self‑belief and mature social skills. The Reception Teacher must have outstanding knowledge of the EYFS Framework, recognise each child’s uniqueness, and plan for their development using both indoor and outdoor environments. They will encourage pupil participation and facilitate independent learning.
