What This Role Is All About
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate certification of all incoming rotables and consumables within WestJet’s operation. This role plays a key part in maintaining airworthiness and inventory integrity by verifying that all parts meet company and regulatory standards before being released to stock. The Receiving Inspector will also inspect re‑calibrated tools, apply calibration labels in accordance with the Maintenance Policy Manual, and ensure they are properly returned to inventory for operational use.

- Determine the airworthiness directive and service bulletin status of incoming parts and record this information in the Computerized Maintenance Tracking System (CMTS).
