Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rebar Detailer to join our engineering team. The Rebar Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings for the placement of reinforcing steel (rebar) used in concrete construction projects. This role involves interpreting construction drawings and specifications, preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings to create accurate rebar placement and shop drawings.
- Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and ensure they match drawing details.
- Use CAD software (AutoCAD RebarCAD Tekla or similar) to generate detailed drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, project specifications and client standards (ACI, BS, IS, etc.).
